Laurie Savlov, M.A., Jungian Analyst, Registered Psychotherapistoffers EMDR as a body-mind therapeutic process in his Toronto
private practice.
He has his certificate in EMDR, and is a member of EMDR Canada and is a Full Member of EMDRIA.
Laurie learned EMDR to assist clients
suffering from traumatic experiences or disturbing life events. These result in
the impairment of the person’s innate ability to process and to integrate the
experiences within the body and mind.
The EMDR therapeutic
process can result in the alleviation of presenting symptoms, diminution of
distress from the memory image or disturbing life event, improved view of the
self, relief from bodily disturbance, and resolution of present and future
anticipated triggers for distress.
